City
to intervene in land appeal Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3 Acting on a request from Barclay Meadows Business Park and from the Sisters School District, the Sisters City Council agreed Thursday, February 8, to intervene in an appeal to be filed by the Alliance for Responsible Land Use in Deschutes County (ARLU DeCo). As an intervenor, the city will prepare a brief to the state Land Use Board of Appeals detailing the city's position on the developments and the history of the process that would bring the two approximately 30-acre parcels at the north edge of town into the Urban Growth Boundary, zoned for light industrial use. The developers offered to reimburse the city for any legal costs associated with the appeal. Opponents argue that the proposed developments would have a negative impact on the adjacent Trapper Point subdivision and on traffic in the area. Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3 ARLU DeCo and many Trapper Point residents were not satisfied with that agreement and remain opposed to the developments. |
