Sisters Sheriff's calls

Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3

  • A man demanded that deputies arrest his ex-wife for harassment. It seems she has been talking to him by unknown means from Yreka, California.

The man suspects there have been devices implanted in his motor home and car.

The man acknowledged that he has been on medication, but he refused to be taken to the hospital to have his medication adjusted.

  • A deputy took a man who has been constantly complaining about speeders on his street out to use a radar gun.

It turned out that the drivers the man thought were doing 60 mph past his house were doing 30-35 mph. Some were going a little faster, as they came to a transition zone from 40 mph to 20 mph.

The deputy explained that these drivers were not violating the law. It is unknown whether the concerned citizen was mollified.

  • A man got upset at a gas station attendant for taking down his license number. A few days later the angry man's son filled up and threatened to kick the attendant's ass.

A deputy contacted the man and his son and told them they are no longer welcome at that establishment.

  • Citizens called in a possible drunk driver. A deputy tracked him down. He was. He went to jail.

  • A driver lost control on ice on Highway 20 west of Sisters, slid across the roadway and hit a tree. His car caught fire, but he was able to extinguish the blaze with the help of a passing motorist.

The driver was taken to the hospital with a fractured leg.

  • A man reported suspicious footprints in the snow in his yard.

  • A woman reported that $300 was stolen from her purse while she was at work.

  • A local resident complained -- and not for the first time -- about cars speeding past her house. She told the dispatcher that she had chased a car into town.

The woman was reportedly quite upset and threatened to start shooting out tires.

  • A woman contacted the sheriff's office to have her posterior photographed as evidence in a previous assault case. Due to the nature of the request, a female deputy was assigned to the chore.
