Young egg hunters enjoy Easter event
Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3 Sisters' annual egg hunt provided the usual fun for children from infancy
to 11 years of age.
Many a lass was seen in a snazzy Easter bonnet (with all the frills upon
it) and little baskets were heaped high with eggs.
Smiles abounded.
The event is staged each year by the Sisters-Camp Sherman Volunteer &
Ambulance Association, under the leadership of Stephen Fisher.
The Cloverdale Volunteer Firefighters Association; Sisters Rodeo Association;
The Gallery Restaurant; Ray's Food Place; City of Sisters Public Works;
and Sisters Elementary School all pitched in to provide hundreds of colored
eggs and places to hunt them.
Prizes were awarded to some of the successful hunters, many of whom came
from other towns:
Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3 In the Infant-to-two years category, Kendra Matlock of Redmond took first
place; Marie Coffey of Sisters was second; Conner Dooley of Bend was third;
Alec Gannon of Sisters was fourth.
Three-to five: Rieleigh Baker, Redmond; Hunter Jutte, Sisters; Lucas
Harrison Calderwood, Sisters.
Six to eight: Chelsie McConville, Sisters; Dustin Matlock, Redmond; Niki
Haken, Sisters; Dustin Contreras, Portland.
Nine to 11: Elizabeth Hoskins, Sisters; Benjamin Morese, Sisters; Brandon
Sullivan, Bend; John Edwards, Sisters.
