Sheriff's calls
Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3
- A hiker was bitten by another hiker's dog. The dog, whose name is
"Rush," is not known to have a political affiliation, was not frothing
at the mouth and is not suspected of being rabid. The victim's political
orientation was not released.
- A 12-year-old boy shot
up a residence and a vehicle with a BB gun while the resident was on
vacation. Since he's "like a son" to the victims, they declined to seek
prosecution.
- A pedestrian walking through
Sisters found and removed several pornographic images that had been
affixed to Sisters businesses.
- A party got out of control
and a Sisters area residence got trashed.
- A Sisters teen reported
marijuana in her dad's car. Dad gave permission to search and a deputy
found half a joint, which dad said wasn't his (though he acknowledged
indulging in the weed on occasion).
The possibility was raised
that the report could be the result of the girl's pique at her dad for
accusing her of stealing money from his business.

The deputy took the marijuana to be destroyed.
- A Forest Service law enforcement
officer found a "bomblet" made from black powder wrapped in duct tape.
The bomb did not detonate, as the fuse burned out.
Information is taken from
log entries and reports of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
