Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3
- Two women were reported overdue from a horseback ride. Search & Rescue
was activated, but the women returned before they were deployed.
- A deputy rescued a border
collie that was hanging from its chain.
- A Husky dog committed murder
most fowl upon a Giant Black chicken. The dog's owner and the chicken's
survivors will work out a civil compromise.
- Horseback riders reported
accidentally cutting across private property on an excursion. The property
owner allegedly followed them, photographed them and said that blood
would be spilled if they ever returned to the property.
- A woman told deputies that
her son accidentally started a fire when he touched off a spud gun using
a paper towel for wadding.
- A retail clerk at a Sisters
store reported that somebody stole her purse from the business.
- A Sisters area resident
reported that someone tried to steal a horse from the property. Deputies
tracked the suspect to pavement, then lost the trail.

A service station
reported an airhose and gauge stolen. A spill kit valued at $500 was
also taken.
- The same service station
had a woman cited for trespassing after she showed up on the premises
having been told never to come back. The woman and several other people
are allegedly involved in a dispute with a service station employee.
- A burglar forced open the
back door of a Sisters restaurant and made off with some $950 in cash
from a register and safe.
- Someone shot up a local
house with a paintball gun.
- A driver approached a construction
worker at the site of the sewage treatment plant. When the construction
worker asked if he could help the driver, the driver flipped him the
bird, offered some expletives and sped off.
- A Sisters man reported
a chainsaw stolen from his garage.
- There were numerous deer
vs. vehicle collisions over the past week and deputies had to dispatch
several wounded deer.
- Dogs are roaming at large
all over Sisters neighborhoods, pooping on lawns other than their own,
knocking over garbage cans, getting into traffic and generally causing
a headache.

Law enforcement personnel are becoming somewhat cynical about the responsibility
level of local pet owners.
- A child reported that two
men in a truck pulled up to her driveway and asked her to follow them.
She ran inside an reported the incident. Deputies were unable to locate
a suspect vehicle.
