Sheriff's calls
- Deputies arrested a Sisters man for driving under the influence and
reckless driving after he allegedly plowed through a fence along Indian
Ford Road. The 20-year-old reportedly had a blood-alcohol count of .15
percent.
- A woman and a man were
riding horseback along Highway 242 west of town when the woman hailed
a passing driver and shouted at him to call police as her companion
was harassing her.
A deputy responded and the
woman confirmed that her male friend was indeed harassing her but rode
off when she told the driver to call police.
- A woman reported that her
purse was stolen from her car while parked at the Sisters High School
baseball diamond.
- A burglar allegedly forced
his way into a Sisters restaurant and made off with a safe containing
approximately $3,000 in cash.
- A burglar tried but failed
to pry his way into another Sisters business.
- A woman reported her son's
go-cart stolen from their residence.
