Sheriff's calls
- Deputies responded to a host of minor accidents caused by drivers
goofing up on icy roads.
- A deputy located a man
sleeping in his car off Harrington Loop. He wasn't stuck -- just camping
out.
- A renter returned a video
in a smashed condition. She claimed it was in that condition when she
rented it. The purveyor begged to differ. The renter apparently took
exception to this questioning of her veracity.
- A man was cited and released
after he allegedly smashed a gate with his truck.
- A woman reported that her
barn cat died with foam at its mouth. She will keep an eye on her other
pets to watch out for rabies or another disease.
- At the request of State
Police, deputies stopped a motorhome suspected of being involved in
a non-injury hit-and-run accident at the Santiam summit.
- The City of Sisters got
hung with a bad check on $140 in overnight park fees.
Information in "Sisters
