Auditorium seating in the area

The proposed 920-seat Sisters High School auditorium would be the third-largest individual performance facility in Central Oregon.

  1. Deschutes County Fairgrounds: Events Center -- 4,000 (3,500 additional floor seating).

  2. Bend High School: +1,400 seats for 1,197 students.

  3. Sisters High School (proposed): 920 seats for 700 students.

  4. Mountain View High School: 600 seats for 1,500 students.

  5. Summit High School: 600 seats for 1,200 (projected 2002-03) students.

  6. Redmond High School: 600 seat auditorium for 1,552 students.

  7. La Pine High School: no auditorium. Plans for new high school called for 300 seat auditorium, since raised to 400. The district hopes to secure grant funds to create 500-600 seat facility.

Other venues exist or are planned in Central Oregon.

  • Fairgrounds meeting rooms can accommodate 1,200-1,600 seats.

  • Bend Athletic Club offers maximum 1,500 outdoor seating.

  • COCC has auditoriums seating 125 and 212.

  • The Tower Theater in Bend is the subject of a restoration effort. Projected seating numbers 450-480; could be open a year-and-a-half from now.

  • The Old Mill 10 movie theater complex in Bend is not a performance auditorium, but the facility is included for perspective: 1,814 total capacity; two largest theaters each seat 282.
