Two teens arrested
Two Sisters teens were arrested
on Monday, March 4, after a weekend vandalism spree that left more than
30 road signs damaged or knocked down.
According to Deschutes County Sheriff's Office reports, James Damian
Richmond, 16, and Gregory Martin Malone, 15, used a 1994 Dodge pick up
truck to push over "Stop" signs and other road signs throughout Sisters
and along surrounding roads.
The vandalism took place Saturday night.
The two were each charged with two felony first degree counts of criminal
mischief; one count of second degree mischief; and 10 reckless endangering
counts for the "Stop" signs they allegedly knocked down.
Richmond, the alleged driver, also faces 37 hit-and-run counts.
