Outdoor burning season ends
Due to the high fire danger,
all outdoor debris burning in Deschutes County is prohibited effective 12:01
a.m., Thursday, May 23.
The areas affected by the
closure include Black Butte Ranch Rural Fire Protection District, Cloverdale
RFPD, and Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD.
Fire officials urge that residents
call 9-1-1 to report all illegal burning activities or smoke sightings
immediately.
