SOAR will host Fun in the Sun
SOAR (Sisters
Organization for Activities and Recreation) will host a day of activities
and entertainment under the summer sun on Saturday, July 20, at Sisters
Elementary School.
Events include the Slamma Jamma basketball tournament; five and 10-kilometer
runs; Taekwondo demonstrations; a co-ed volleyball tournament and music.
There will be children's games, a climbing wall and barbecue and other
food.
Fun in the Sun will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will raise funds
for the future SOAR activity center.
