Sisters Sheriff's calls

  • A woman suffered minor injuries after she lost control of a motorcycle she was riding on a Sisters back street and crashed.

  • A man reported that someone stole speakers from his car. It turned out that a friend had borrowed them.

  • A Sisters woman rescued a Shar Pei dog that had been hit by a car on Goodrich Road. The dog was treated by a veterinarian.

  • Someone stole an irrigation regulating device off a system.
  • A woman allegedly shoplifted a sweater from a Sisters business. The woman made her getaway before the theft was noticed and deputies couldn't track her down.

  • A driver rear-ended a semi truck on Highway 20. The car suffered heavy front-end damage, but the truck was apparently unfazed, as the driver continued merrily upon his way.

Information in "Sisters sheriff's calls" is taken from log entries and reports of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
