"We've met a lot of nice people and had fun," said Carl.

New owner Albertson commented, "These are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and I'm very happy for them."

Albertson plans to have six to eight artists displaying their work in the gallery.

"I hope to have contrasting styles so that when a person walks through the gallery they will have seen a variety of works. This will include watercolors, sculpture, fine art furniture, animal and wildlife photography," the new owner said.

"I also hope to have a gifted high school student's work on display and give a young person contact with established artists. There may also be one amateur artist on display. Sisters is changing and the shop will continue to evolve."

On the technical side, Sisters Gallery and Frame already has a Wizard mat cutter that uses a sophisticated computer program to do intricate matte cuts according to customer wishes.

"This is a very fast and efficient method to do a quality job," said Carl Rossetti, a structural and civil engineer.

"Shops sometimes tend to 'over frame' and artists tend to 'under frame'," said Gary. "I hope to offer the perfect wrapper for artistic works."

Albertson is planning to add a professional Epson inkjet printer and high-end scanner for the business.

"This will allow local artists to make large format copies and prints of their work locally," he said.

The new owner has a background in advertising and marketing as well as his photographic skills.

"I hope to share my marketing ideas with gallery artists and set up a web site," he said. "I'm just an artist with a dream. The shop will offer music and aromas that I like and add to the total experience."
