School offers book fair

The Sisters Elementary School Scholastic Book Fair kicks off this week at the school library.

This year's Fair is being sponsored by the fourth grade classes. Proceeds will help fund their annual overnight field trip, an event which caps their yearlong study of Oregon state history.

Every student will have an opportunity to visit the Fair. It will be located in the elementary school library. Parents and community members are invited to donate a book as a special gift to a classroom library. Teachers have previewed the Book Fair and filled out a classroom "wish list," which will be on display during the Fair.

The fair runs on: Wednesday October 16, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday, October 17, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m; Friday, October 18, 7:30 to 4 p.m. and Monday-Wednesday, October 21-23, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information call 549-8981.
