Sisters sheriff's calls

• A deputy discovered an unattended debris fire on private property. Cloverdale firefighters responded to the blaze and they will conduct an investigation.
  
• A deputy chased seven black cows on the highway. They didn't pull over. Instead they fled down Rabbitbrush Lane and the deputy lost contact.
  
• A stolen vehicle from Sisters was recovered in Gresham.
  
• A man reported a deer shot in his field off Cloverdale Road. The incident was handed over to an Oregon State Police game officer for investigation.
  
• A deputy cited a middle school student for theft after the student allegedly pinched some items off a fellow student's desk.
  
• A man reported that someone stole two tool boxes from his business, containing tools worth a total of $800.
  
• A man hit a deer doing severe damage to his vehicle. The deer fared even worse.
  
• Deputies arrested a Redmond woman for a restraining order violation in Sisters.
