Sisters sheriff's calls

  • A Sisters woman called requesting help to get her pet skunk out of the heating duct where it was stuck. Before sheriff's personnel were required to don Haz-Mat suits and brave the glandular wrath of the trapped critter, said critter escaped on its own.
  • A woman reported that her debit card was stolen and several charges made against it.
  • A Sisters woman ran into a patrol car parked at the scene of another motor vehicle accident. The deputy escaped injury, but the driver did not escape a citation for careless driving.
  • A horseback rider found a bag of bones on an excursion. They turned out to be deer bones.
  • Somebody lost their Christmas tree on Highway 20 near the Lazy Z.

Information in "Sisters sheriff's calls" is taken from log entires and reports of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
