Sisters
sheriff's calls
- A man was hit
by a passing car as he stood at the scene of a car wreck. He suffered
minor injury to his leg.
- A woman reported
that several of her sandwich board signs had been stolen off the highway.
Actually, they were picked up by ODOT because they were in the highway
right-of-way.
- A man was arrested
for drunk driving after hitting two cars in the area of Hood Avenue
and Ash Street.
- A deputy responded
to an argument that had degenerated into a pushing match. One of the
parties was gone and the other didn't want to press any charges. There
was no serious physical altercation.
- A deputy caught
a man sneaking through the window of an apartment. Turns out the man
lived there -- he was trying to avoid disturbing his roommmates. The
roommmates confirmed that this is his usual method of entry.
Information in "Sisters
sheriff's calls" is taken from log entries and reports of the Deschutes
County Sheriff's Office and Black Butte Ranch Police.
