Sisters sheriff's calls

  • Deputies cited two Sisters Middle School students in separate incidents -- one for possession of alcohol, another for possession of marijuana.
  • A deputy located a lost horseback rider.
  • Two dump trucks and a mobile office at a construction site were damaged by vandals.
  • Someone shot a BB into the front window of a residence.
  • Deputies investigated an anonymous claim of abuse that turned out to be an apparent prank call.
  • Deputies are stepping up patrol on Barclay Drive in the Sisters Industrial Park. Locals have a tendency to speed through what has become a popular route to the west side of town from the Sage Meadow area.

Black Butte Ranch Police

  • An officer responded to a vehicle crash. The driver was transported to the hospital.
  • A man called to report that he had left a shotgun at a house he rented. An officer accompanied the renter to retrieve the firearm.
