City will host second couplet workshop

Sisters area residents will have another chance to weigh in on proposed couplet plans for the city at a workshop on Tuesday, August 31, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The workshop will be held at Sisters Elementary School.

Local residents, business owners and others will have an opportunity to hear about the proposed Sisters couplet and review the draft Sisters Couplet Refinement Plan. The workshop will summarize public comment received at the first public workshop and present the recommended alignment.

According to city officials, the workshop will open with a 30- to 45-minute presentation, followed by a questions and answer period.

City officials stated that residents and business owners are strongly encouraged to attend the workshop to learn more about the couplet and why it is being proposed.
