Sisters woman safe after head-on crash
Robin Buckles of Sisters was recovering at home on Sunday, December 5, after she was involved in a head-on collision on Highway 20 on Friday night.

Christmas Parade draws big crowd
Snow flurries changed to clear skies just in time for the Sisters Holiday Parade. Children of all ages (adults are included in this category for parades) waved and cheered friends in the parade.

McDonald's appeal hearing set
An appeals hearing on a proposed McDonald's drive-through will go forward as scheduled despite the fact that the city planning department missed a local deadline for publication of public notice.

City, schools seek to resolve SDC dispute
A conflict between the City of Sisters and the Sisters School District over Systems Development Charges (SDCs) may begin moving toward resolution this week. It has been held in abeyance, at least publicly, for several months.

City Hall project still moving, slowly
The City of Sisters is still planning to build a new city hall on land acquired last year from the school district (part of the former middle school site) on the east side of town.

Community Hall renovation on pace
Camp Sherman's grand old Community Hall is rounding back into shape and will be ready for business later this month. The historic building will have its official grand re-opening party on Saturday, January 22, with a community potluck dinner.
