Tree falls on trailer
By Jim Cornelius

Ruth and Jack McCawley of Sisters are looking for a way to pay for repairs to their trailer which was damaged when a Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3
windblown tree fell on it Thursday, October 9.

The trailer, sited at Circle 5 trailer park, suffered between $5,000-$6,000 in damage, according to park manager Sandra McNerney. The McCawleys were in the trailer when the tree fell on it, but they were unhurt. They are still living in the trailer.

"They're living in it, but they don't have hot water or a furnace for heat," McNerney said.

McNerney told The Nugget that the McCawleys have no insurance, and the park's insurance will not cover the damage.

An account has been set up at Bank of the Cascades for donations to help the McCawleys. The account number is 04320192.

The McCawleys are long-time Sisters residents, elderly and on a fixed income.

"They've lived in the area for years and years," McNerney said. "They've lived in the park for, like, 14 years."
