Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3 According to sheriff's department reports, the accident occurred when an eastbound 1990 Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Dan McManus, 31, of Redmond, started to make a left turn onto Cloverdale Road in front of a westbound car driven by Steven R. Breckheimer, 28, of Salem. The vehicles collided nearly head on, with Breckheimer's 1998 Mercury Tracer spinning onto the westbound shoulder of the highway. Breckheimer had to be cut out of the car with the jaws of life. He was transported by Air Life to St. Charles Medical Center in serious condition. Also airlifted was a rear-seat passenger, Rosalie A. Breckheimer, 53, also of Salem. She suffered a complete amputation of her right arm in the accident. Breckheimer's front-seat passenger, Jennifer Boydston, 35, was transported by ambulance with moderate injuries. McManus, the pick-up truck driver, was also transported via ground ambulance, also with minor injuries. Deputies did not know whether the passengers were wearing seatbelts. |
