Highway 20 scene of two wrecks

A pair of nasty wrecks on Highway 20 last week sent several motorists to the hospital. Two vehicles collided in icy conditions west of Suttle Lake on Thursday, April 8.

Smoke blankets Cloverdale area

A blanket of smoke lay on the fields of Cloverdale late on Sunday and early Monday.The smoke came from fires set by the Forest Service to remove flammable material from the woods near Sisters.
