Lee Jay Farm August 13, 1929 - February 22, 2014

Lee Farm of Sisters passed away on February 22.

Lee was born in Salem, Oregon, to John and Nila Farm. Lee spent his early childhood in Caruthers, California, along with his six siblings. He moved to Salem at the age of 16. Lee spent most of the next 40 years in Salem. Lee was in the army from 1951-1953, spending time stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington.

In 1962 Lee met the love of his life, Betty, and spent the next 51 years beside her. Lee spent many years as a carpenter before embarking on a building-contractor's career.

Lee moved to Camp Sherman in 1990 and enjoyed the fishing, hunting, and horseback riding the area offered. Lee was an active member in the High Desert Model A Club. Lee and Betty moved to Sisters in 2007.

Lee is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Robert Benson, Debra Connelly, Anne Koster, and Sherri Farm; along with nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Lee's name to Partners in Care of Bend, and the American Heart Association.

Lee rode the Chief Joseph Appaloosa Trail Ride for 19 years, 1990 to 2009. He also rode in Colorado, New Mexico, and Kentucky. Happy Trails, Lee!
