The Sisters-Camp Sherman and Cloverdale Fire departments present the annual Easter Egg Hunt for ages infant to 11 on Sunday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Creekside Park and Creekside Campground, regardless of weather. The Easter Bunny will be on hand, and the eggs go fast! Parking is limited; kids should arrive by 12:40 p.m. to be divided into age groups. Easter Egg Hunt, Pancake Breakfast & Easter Service
On Easter Sunday, April 1, Sisters Church of the Nazarene invites the community to enjoy a free pancake breakfast from 9:30 to 10 a.m., followed at 10:45 a.m. by a celebration service that includes special activities for kids. The Black Butte School District seeks qualified volunteers for the budget committee for 3-year terms. You must reside within the district boundary, be a registered voter, and not be employed by the district at the time of appointment or during the term of service. Training is provided. Sisters Elementary School will hold their annual Kindergarten Roundup pre-registration on Monday, April 30 in two sessions: one at 9 a.m. and another at 1 p.m. Children who will be age 5 on or before September 1, 2018 are eligible for the 2018-19 school year.
