Neither team was able to score in the third quarter and the fourth quarter began with three consecutive fumbles.
"It got a little crazy out there," said Coach Dusty Macauley. "We exchanged fumbles and then they (Burns) fumbled again. We got the ball back and Nick (Head) broke a 25-yard run to score. We went for two and failed."
Sisters put pressure on the Burns quarterback, recorded a couple of sacks and took possession of the ball.
The Outlaws put the ball across twice more and held Burns to secure the win.
Quarterback Chase Klient rushed 18 times for 258 yards, completed seven of 14 pass attempts for 60 yards and recorded three rushing touchdowns. Nick Head (running back) rushed 19 times for 124 yards. The offense recorded a total of 427 yards rushing.
Tyler Miller had an outstanding game with one sack, one blocked pass, an interception and four tackles. Dillon McKenzie had eight tackles on the night.
"The defense played exceptional," said Macauley. "The front seven were outstanding and held Burns to just seven total yards rushing."
Macauley made special note of middle linebacker Lucas Reitman who finished with five tackles for the night.
"His versatility is very key to our defense," said Macauley. "His ability to stop the run and cover players makes him a very dynamic player."
The Outlaws will travel to Madras on Friday, September 12, for a non-league game.
