Outlaws beat The Dalles on the hardwood
The Outlaws' team effort resulted in a 57-43 victory over The Dalles at home in Sisters on Friday, December 8. It was a fairly even contest the first half of the game, but Sisters outscored The Dalles in both the third and fourth quarters to seal the win.

Wrestlers compete at invitational
The Outlaws competed in the Perry Burlison Invitational, held at Cascade High School on Saturday, December 2. Sisters had only 11 varsity matmen at the tournament, and finished 17th out of the 24 teams in attendance.

Girls basketball faced top teams
The Lady Outlaws faced two formidable foes this past week, and the high level of play was more than the young Sisters squad could handle. Sisters fell 54-14 at home to North Marion (No. 5) on Tuesday, December 5, and three days later were defeated 55-23 by Yamhill-Carlton (YC).

Girls basketball team holds on for one-point win
The Lady Outlaws defeated the Cowgirls 36-35 at Crook County (CC) on Friday, December 1.

Wessel is Athlete of the Month
Standout Outlaws football player Brady Wessel has earned Athlete of the Month recognition for the month of October from the coaches at Sisters High School.

Wessel earned all-league honors and was also named Defensive Player of the Year statewide, an honor he shared with a player from Cottage Grove.

The Outlaws jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back, as they sailed to a 58-37 win at Crook County (CC) on Friday, December 1, in their first pre-season game of the year.

Swim team ready to plunge into season
The 2017-18 edition of Sisters High School's swim team includes a total of 30 athletes under the leadership of first-year Head Coach Bryn Singleton. That's one of the largest squads in school history.

Hawley Harrer named volleyball Player of the Year
Hawley Harrer is a four-year varsity starter, and has been an impact player for the Outlaws volleyball team all season long. She not only was a first-team all-league pick this year, but was named the Sky-Em Player of the Year for the second year in a row.

Cross-country teams perform well at state championships
One team came home with a trophy from the Oregon 4A Cross Country Championships and another left hungry for the future, as the Sisters Outlaws completed a strong season Saturday, November 4 at Lane Community College.

Wessel leads Sisters all-league honors
The Sisters High School football squad had 14 players named to all-league teams this season. Senior Brady Wessel had an exceptional year, and was named first-team all-league on both offense and defense.

The top-ranked Lady Outlaws volleyball team clicked on every level as they easily dismantled their first two opponents enroute to their victory over No. 2 Valley Catholic in the championship match of the 4A volleyball championships on Saturday, November 4.

Lady Outlaws sting Hornets
The Lady Outlaws defeated the Henley Hornets at home on Saturday, October 28, in the first round of the state playoffs. After two weeks off, Sisters was a bit sluggish, but after four sets of play they tallied the win.

The Outlaws soccer team fell 0-2 in their play-in game against Mazama on Saturday, October 28, which ended their hopes for a playoff run.

Outlaws race to seventh straight District title
The Sisters Outlaws girls bid adieu to the Sky-Em Conference with their seventh consecutive District cross-country title on Thursday, September 26 at Lane Community College behind the top nine finishes by all five scorers.

Anna Bartlett, the defending individual champion, faced the toughest field of girls in many years and finished fourth despite running the best time of her career by nearly 20 seconds with a mark of 19:37.

One year after its worst showing in nearly two decades, the Sisters Outlaws boys cross-country team made a complete comeback, with an emphatic victory at the Sky-Em District Meet held at Lane Community College in Eugene Thursday, October 26.

A zany relay meet in Bend served as a final tune-up for the Sisters Outlaws cross-country team Wednesday, October 18, as the squad faces the Sky-Em District meet this week. That meet is the qualifier for the OSAA State Championships.

Boys soccer finishes second in league
The Outlaws started their week with a 1-1 tie against Elmira on Tuesday, October 17, and two days later fell 3-2 to Junction City (JC) at home in Sisters in the final league game of the season. Sisters finished league in second place; the first time in nine years they haven't claimed the title.

Outlaws claim eighth straight volleyball title
Sisters' volleyball squad made quick work of the Tigers at Junction City (JC) in a 25-18, 25-14, 25-11 sweep that was over in 50 minutes. Sisters wrapped up league play with a 10-0 record, marking their eighth consecutive title.
