Sisters grad nears Gonzaga mile record
In his first outing at a collegiate runner, Brandon Pollard entered the record books for Gonzaga University when he ran 4:10.6 in the indoor mile to become the fastest frosh of all-time for the Bulldogs. His time was the second-fastest ever for a Bulldog miler indoors.

Swimmers excel at White Buffalo Classic
The Outlaws turned in an outstanding performance at the White Buffalo Classic held at the Madras Aquatic Center on Saturday, January 17. Sisters competed against Madras, The Dalles and Corbett and the girls team walked away with a first-place finish overall. The boys finished runner-up.

The boys basketball team showed outstanding play in their 42-28 victory over the Redmond Panthers on Friday, January 9. Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Sisters suffered a 39-32 loss against North Marion (NM).

The Lady Outlaws snapped a four-game losing streak with a 39-30 victory over the Redmond Panthers on Friday, January 9. Three days earlier, Sisters lost 48-34 to North Marion.

Lady Outlaws took some wear and tear in Holiday Tournament
The Lady Outlaws were exhausted after they completed four games at the Sisters Holiday Tournament, held Monday through Wednesday, December 29-31. After a team dropped out of the tourney the Outlaws had to play both sides of the bracket and play four games in two days.

Sisters brought 15 of their 22 wrestlers to the Adrian Irwin Invitational Friday and Saturday, December 19-20 at Ridgeview High School.

Girls hoops place third at Seaside
The girls basketball team attended the Seaside Invitational Thursday through Saturday, December 18-20, and walked away with a third-place finish. Seaside took championship honors, and Madras finished runner-up.

Blumm among Athletes of the Year
The fall sports season for Sisters High School produced some unprecedented results, including that the Outlaws were named players of the year in numerous sports, including boys and girls soccer, volleyball, and girls cross-country.

Aria Blumm earned Athlete of the Year honors in cross-country based on her victory at the district meet and a confirmation from the coaches.

The Lady Outlaws had a rough week that started with a 45-26 loss to the White Buffaloes at Madras on Tuesday, December 9, followed by a 47-33 loss to Summit three days later.

Matmen compete at Culver Invitational
Sisters had 18 wrestlers competing in the Culver Invitational held on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12. Four wrestlers made it to the podium: junior Zach Reid took third, junior Mitch Gibney took fifth, and freshman Cole Pade and junior Clayton Darst both finished sixth.

Boys basketball rolls over Madras
Sisters posted a 45-37 win over Madras on Tuesday, December 9, but then fell 50-37 to Lebanon three days later.

Madras was a big win for the Outlaws. The White Buffaloes are a talented team that can score in bunches, and it was a huge accomplishment for the Outlaws to hold them to just 37 points in the game.
