A man reported his vehicle stolen from a campground. It was later recovered. A woman had thought she had permission to use it whenever she wanted. She was mistaken. She was also cited for drug possession when a deputy found methamphetamine residue in her purse.
A 26-year-old man was arrested for drunk driving after he ran into some mailboxes returning from the brew fest in Bend. He had a blood-alcohol count of .14 percent.
In a separate incident, a 49-year-old man was arrested for DUII, even though "he only had two beers."

A 42-year-old woman was arrested after she hit her husband in a domestic spat. The husband was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
A driver crashed after swerving to avoid an elk on Camp Polk Road at Indian Ford Road.

A man was arrested for menacing and disorderly conduct after he terrorized people at Lava Lakes Campground off Highway 242, threatening to kill them with a chain saw.
A kitchen fire in the Cloverdale fire district left two with minor smoke inhalation and caused heavy smoke damage to their home.
A Sisters merchant reported the theft of two rings.
A man got impatient at the Highway 20/McKinney Butte intersection and pulled into traffic. He didn't see an oncoming vehicle and there was a collision.

A deputy made a high-risk stop on a car after a passerby reported the passengers shooting at road signs along Highway 20 near Black Butte Ranch. Turned out they were shooting airsoft guns. They were cited for disorderly conduct and one was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
A woman was seen trying to get into cars in the Sisters Park & Recreation District parking lot. She was drunk, trying to find a place to lie down while her friends played disc golf. A deputy booted her from the property and a sober friend drove her home to Bend.
A man punched his wife in the face and knocked her down in front of their house. A neighbor witnessed the incident.
A man reported that two of his black angus cows apparently ran off with a herd of elk. Ah, the call of the wild...
A woman complained about a neighbor's goats coming onto her property. The area is open range.
A man reported that someone was placing bogus bids on eBay items using his name and
