Plane down near airport; no serious injuries reported

A small aircraft went down in a field west of the runway at Sisters Eagle Airport on Wednesday evening, March 3. The two rated pilots on board escaped serious injury in the incident, according to personnel on the scene. One walked away from the wreck; the other was being treated at the scene for minor injuries.
