Sheriff: 'Fire has not gotten into Whychus Creek'

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports that, as of Monday afternoon, the Grandview Fire is entirely within Jefferson County, and is estimated at 4,000 acres.

"The fire has not gotten into Whychus Creek," the sheriff's office stated. "This is on the south east side of the fire. This is an important fire break that fire fighters hope to keep fire free."
