Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District is extending the application period to fill a vacant position on the board of directors. Completed applications need to be returned, with a cover letter, to the Fire District’s administrative office no later than Friday, February 25 at 5 p.m.

After reviewing all applications, the board of directors will appoint the successful candidate to the vacant position through June 30, 2023. The board of directors meet each month at 5 p.m. on the third Tuesday. In addition, all members of the board of directors serve on the Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District Budget Committee.

Members of the board of directors must be a resident or own real estate within the boundaries of the Fire District which includes Sisters, Camp Sherman, Squaw Creek Canyon Recreational Estates, Tollgate, Crossroads, and other small subdivisions.
