Sisters residents Lois and Tom Worcester will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with family members next weekend at the Oregon Coast. Lois and Tom were married July 28, 1951 in their home town of Boulder, Colorado, while Tom was on active duty with the U.S. Navy. Their wedding date fell between LT.jg Worcester's two tours on different ships in Korea. The new Mrs. Worcester put her teaching career on hold as a Navy bride. Family members at the coastal celebration will include two sons and two daughters from Portland and Bend, three granddaughters from Portland, a grandson from Bend and a great-grandson from Portland. A nephew and his family from Salem will also join the group.
