Gary Paul Basin returned to his Lord in the afternoon of Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the age of 68.

Gary was born in Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to Los Angeles soon afterwards.

Gary eventually moved to Salem and Camp Sherman and spent the best years of his adult life with his life partner Teli, who passed in November 2017.

Gary loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Ben; daughter, Jennifer; beloved grandchildren, Colin, Samantha, and Zairq; sister, Tammy; brother, Matt; and, of course, his labs, Sadie and River.

Gary will always be remembered for his personality, humor, loving heart and giving spirit.
