The final "O Sisters, Where Art Thou?" Art Speak Program held Wednesday, September 27, features Sisters area photograper Tom Davis.

Davis will present "Rivers of the Northwest and a few from the Southwest" at 6 p.m. at the Sisters Library, 110 N. Cedar St.

The program features a digital slide show of Western rivers including the Deschutes, John Day, Biltzen, Crooked, Middle Fork Salmon, Teton, Uppper-Middle Snake, Hells Canyon, Rio Grande, San Juan, Tikchik, Spatsizi and more.

Tom Davis' passion for photographing nature and natural patterns is derived from his interest in the complexities and beauty of various types of flowing water. He has a Master's Degree in hydrology and is a retired hydrologic engineer.

His photographs have been shown for a number of years at the juried exhibits of the Oregon Salon of Photography and the Oregon International Exhibit of Photography, as well as the Deschutes County Fair.

He does not exhibit permanently at a gallery but occasionally sells his photographs at shows and exhibits.
