Sisters salutes - 12/9/2020

Jeff Tryens, Seed to Table Board Chair wrote:

“On behalf of the board and staff of Seed to Table, I want to thank those who participated in our first-ever silent auction. We raised over $14,000 that will go toward expanding the farm operation — allowing us to grow more fresh produce for local food banks, provide more student field trips for schools wanting to participate in our education programs, and expand our produce share program.

“We especially want to thank those who stepped up to donate items for the auction including Black Butte Ranch, Disc Ventures, FivePine Lodge, Goby Walnut, Hydroflask, Rainshadow Organics, Shibui Spa, Sisters Coffee Co., 32 Winds Winery along with artists Holly Rodes Smithey, Jordan Kramer, Kathy Deggendorfer, Kimry Jelen and Winnie Givot. Special thanks to Emily Green for her assistance.

“While these funds go a long way toward reaching our goal of raising $40,000 to match an anonymous donor’s generous offer, it’s the expression of the widespread support Seed to Table engenders across the community that matters most to those of us involved with Seed to Table.”
