STA seeking executive director

Sisters Trails Alliance (STA) is seeking an experienced nonprofit leader, interested in sharing their talents in a part-time position for the local nonprofit.

The activities of STA are currently managed by a cadre of board members and volunteers. The executive director (ED) will provide organization, structure, and leadership to board and committees, lead fundraising efforts, manage external communications, and coordinate events as well as day-to-day activities of STA.

The ED will be the lead spokesperson for the group and work to deepen relationships with members, donors, volunteers, and partners.

The STA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect people and communities to each other and their natural surroundings. In cooperation with the Sisters Ranger District, the organization builds and maintains non-motorized trails in the Sisters area including the renowned Peterson Ridge Trail system. The Alliance produces a free trail map, hosts an annual speaker series, and supports trail-related activities. The organization is an active advocate for trails and trail-related issues for our community.
