Lucille 'Lu' Trowbridge passed away December 21, 2023, at her home in Medford, Oregon.

She was born February 9, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, and married the love of her life, Ira Trowbridge in 1946. Ira joined the Air Force and Lu and Ira raised their four children while moving all over the country from Base to Base.

After Ira retired from the Air Force in 1966, the family moved to Oregon. Lu worked for the Army Corps of Engineers in Alaska and the U.S. Forest Service in Bend and Sisters.

When Lu retired, they bought a trailer and traveled, checking out the west and southwest (especially Las Vegas) for a few years then settled in Medford in 1991.

Lu was fun, funny, feisty, and hardworking, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children and their families: Barry Trowbridge and Kathy McCanst; Sandy and Bill Rowan; Denise Trowbridge; Carol Trowbridge; grandchildren: Charles, Rebecca, Spencer, Matthew, and Scott; and great-grandchildren: Sophia, Lucas, and Jacob.

We will never stop missing her.
