Board seat open at fire district

Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District is seeking applicants for a vacant position on the Board of Directors.

After reviewing all applications, the Board of Directors will appoint the successful candidate to the vacant position through June 30, 2027.

The Board of Directors meets each month at 5 p.m. on the third Tuesday.

In addition, all members of the Board of Directors serve on the Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District Budget Committee.

Members of the Board of Directors must be a resident, or own real estate within the boundaries of the Fire District which includes the City of Sisters, Camp Sherman, Whychus Canyon Estates, Tollgate, Crossroads, and other small subdivisions.

Completed applications should be returned with a cover letter and be received in the Fire District’s Administrative Office no later than June 11, at 5 p.m.

Applications may be picked up at the Fire District’s Administrative Office located at 301 S. Elm St. between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or from our website at http://www.sistersfire.com.
